The Blood of Dawnwalker Best Late-Game Weapons for Brencis
Published 2026-09-294 min read
The five weapons worth owning before the Brencis fight: Durandal, Imbued Sword of St. Mihai, The Hand of Fate, The Vrakhir, and the blacksmith's blade.
Weapons in The Blood of Dawnwalker are build pieces first and damage sticks second — every blade carries perk-style effects that point at a specific way to fight. Heading into the endgame (and the Brencis fight), five of them earn their slots: one for each style, from stamina-hungry greatsword play to parry-first dueling.

Durandal
The lost sword of Duke Skander Zoragosti. Ask the Svartrau tavern keeper about recent rumors to open The Cursed Chasm, follow the duke's trail through the valley's southwest, and the quest ends handing you a Legendary longsword with a unique triple-sweep Weapon Art. Effects: +11.2% damage against Supernatural, −21% attack and dodge stamina cost, −7% Swordmastery cooldowns — the efficiency pick for long fights.
Imbued Sword of St. Mihai
The strongest sword in the game, and a quest line in itself: beat Mihai in A Monk and a Saint for the Broken blade, gather 3 Sword Shards for the Uriash hermit to get the Restored version, then finish Forge It Anew to forge the Imbued Legendary. It's a slow greatsword with huge base damage — +9% crit chance, +13.5% crit damage, +14.4% vs Supernatural, −9% cooldowns — and its Weapon Art flips with the clock: a spinning area attack by day, a shadowstep triple-slash on a single target at night.
The Hand of Fate
The Witchcraft player's shortsword. Take the Stone Key from the Cathedral Treasury (bookshelf, hidden ladder) into A Hero's End's ruins and open the Kobold-guarded stone container. +21% passive activation charge regen, +11.2% charge from actions, −7% Witchcraft cooldown, +11.2% Witchcraft damage, plus a fast three-hit crit Weapon Art — the engine for daytime spell-and-steel play.
The Vrakhir
The night build's core. It waits in a hidden tomb at the end of a wisp-lit path during the night date in Lacra's romance line — planted in a petrified monk, squarely on the route you can't miss. +21% maximum Vampiric Health, +11.2% damage against Mortals, −11.2% Vampiric ability health cost, −7% Vampiric cooldowns.
The blacksmith's Uncrowned (name approximate)
The parry duelist's scalpel: a quick blade raising weapon crit chance and damage while widening the Perfect Block window and its stamina recovery. Buy it from the Svartrau blacksmith near the Zoragosti gate for about 3,100 dinars — steep early, trivial late. It's the standout answer to Ambrus, whose fast combos punish anything slower than a perfect parry.
