The Blood of Dawnwalker On the Run — Side Quest Walkthrough — Wiki & Guide

On the Run walkthrough: Iorgu's runaway pig, the Focus-clue search by the bridge, the chase through the fields, and the drinking scene that ends the quest.
On the Run is the prologue's comedy relief: Iorgu has lost a pig, the pig does not want to be found, and Coen — newly turned creature of the night — gets to spend his afternoon chasing it through the village. Short, cheap, and one of the more memorable half-hours in Laslea Glen.

How to start
During the wait before mass, find Iorgu near the center of Laslea Glen and talk to him. His pig has bolted, and he needs someone quick to bring it home.
Find the trail
Follow the objective to the bridge and use Focus mode to pick up the trail. Cross the bridge, turn right, and walk to the end of the path — the scene triggers when you catch up with the runaway.
When the moment comes to explain yourself, pick "The duke said so" — the Brencis-flavored bluff that moves the scene along.
The chase
From here the quest is exactly what it sounds like: follow the pig, sprint when it bolts, and stay with it until Coen finally grabs the animal. Carry it back to Iorgu to close the loop.
The drinking scene
Back at the pen, Iorgu's gratitude turns into a drinking session, and the quest slips from comedy into something stranger:
- "All right, I'll help you."
- Take the drink: "All right, pour one."
- Soothe the pig: "There's a good girl. Good girl."
- Then, at the moment the scene has been building toward, look away: "[Turn away and don't look]"
Yes, the pig gets slaughtered, and no, the game does not let you look away from what follows — the turn-away option is the punchline. Talk to Iorgu one last time, close with "Thank you," and the quest completes for 100 XP and 25 denarii.
It's a small quest, but the XP-to-time ratio is honest, the tone is a palate cleanser between the prologue's heavier beats, and the village remembers it fondly.
