Someone Needs a Lesson walkthrough: chasing Vasil across Laslea Glen, the duel, Atanas's intervention, and every dialogue branch — including the drunk-fight route.
Someone Needs a Lesson is the prologue's local-bully quest: Vasil has been making trouble for Coen's family, and this quest lets you chase him down and settle it — with words, fists, or an ill-advised second fight with his father. One time unit in, 250 XP and a decent conversation out.

How to start
While waiting for mass in Laslea Glen, walk to the shrine at the center of the village, then to the door northeast of the shrine — approaching it triggers the quest automatically as Vasil makes his move.
The chase
Vasil runs, and you chase him across the village. Catch up and grab him for a "talk." The confrontation unfolds in three beats, and every branch of it is survivable:
- "Why would you do that?" — open with the confrontation.
- "Take that back." — push the point.
- "I've had enough" — settle it with a duel.
Beat Vasil, then handle Atanas
Defeat Vasil in the fight and his father Atanas steps in to negotiate. The conversation branches:
- De-escalate: "We just had a small disagreement," then "Huh? All right," then "Let him go, Atanas." — the clean route; Vasil gets his beating from his own father and the quest closes without further blood.
- The drunk-fight route: "You're drunk, Atanas" — and you get a second duel against the father. Someone is getting pounded into a pulp either way; you're just choosing who.
Afterward, meet Vasil again and close with "I'm sorry." The quest completes for 250 XP, plus the small story note that Vasil and his father have troubles of their own.
Is it worth the time unit?
Yes — it's one of the better XP-per-minute deals in the prologue, it fills in the village's texture, and neither branch carries a lasting penalty. Do it during the mass-wait window alongside Blasphemy, On the Run, and Disturbed; that cluster of small quests is the most efficient hour in the game's opening days.
