The Blood of Dawnwalker Letters to Lunka Quest Walkthrough

Letters to Lunka is the capstone of the Sanzhani questline — and the only quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker that gives you time back. Run the Tsarina's favors, carry five letters to your captive sister Lunka, and she returns the favor with one full in-game day (16 time segments) refunded. It unlocks right after Good Home at the Yawning Burrow, and it fails outright if the 30-day deadline expires first — which is exactly why it tops every good-ending checklist.

The favor chain

Good Home starts the service — finishing it earns your first letter. Four more quests follow, in any order:

1. Come Hither
2. Burrow Sorrows
3. Pearly and Precious
4. Tiny Dancer

Complete all four and Letters to Lunka is ready to conclude. Until then, the Tsarina's couriers won't carry anything.

Send each letter home

After each completed favor, return to the Sanzhani Tsarina in the Yawning Burrow — Focus Mode highlights her — and ask about the letter. Five letters go out across the chain (counting the one from Good Home), each on its own topic. You can send one per visit or batch several in a single conversation; the order doesn't matter.

Collect the reward — and the reply

Once the four favors are done, ask the Tsarina for the special reward: she restores one in-game day (16 time segments) to your 30-day clock. Then wait one full day — Lunka's answers arrive in your Inventory's quest items as readables. There's no popup or marker, which is why many players think the quest bugged out: open the inventory and read the letters yourself to finish.

Two fine-print notes: the refunded day only matters before the deadline — past it, the bonus can't rescue the run. And finishing the Tsarina's tasks feeds the Tsarina's Favourite Human achievement.
